• Violin top is hand carved solid spruce and violin back is hand carve solid maple - unlike some lesser quality violins that are made out laminated wood which affects the tone of the instrument

• Real inlaid purfling on both the violin top and back (unlike some lesser quality brands where the purling is drawn rather than carved and inlaid)

Violin Sizes:

• 1/8 - Age 3 to 5 years old with an arm length of 17.1 to 17.5 inches.

• 1/2 - Age 6 to 10 years old, with an arm length of 20 to 22 inches.
  
• 3/4 - Age 9 to 11 years old with an arm length of 22 to 23.5 inches.
  
• 4/4 or Full Size Violin - For violinists age 9 and above with an arm length of 23.5 and up. This is the size for adults.
